For most of us, being a kid meant wandering, imagining, trying new things, asking questions. It was learning from others, and teaming up to make something better than we could build on our own.

We think venture capital should enable these same things in founders and startups.

Like any venture capital group, we care about markets / technology / team fit / competitive advantage / product market fit / more…we analyze all of this carefully for every startup we talk to. But we believe that you will create your best startup when, at your core, you are people-led and design-fed (whether you call it that or not).

Relentlessly focus on people. This applies to people “outside” your business like customers, partners, and users, as well as people “inside” such as co-founders, early hires, yourself. How are you deeply considering people when building your startup?
